YES! Boys Youth Dance Group

ESD is delighted to announce the creation of YES! , a new and exciting boys’ youth dance group to be based in Newcastle. It is recognised that there is a dearth of young male dancers in the world of dance.
This project is aimed at boy dancers between 12 and 18 years old from across the North East, who are curious about, or already involved in the world of dance . Emphasis will be placed on helping them to realise their full potential in terms of technique, performance and choreography.
It is also part of the mission that Eliot Smith Dance engage with a younger audience and more diverse cultural communities, as well as acting as a spring board for young male dancers to enter into professional dance training leading to a career in dance.
Recruitment for dancers will commence in Spring 2020.
