Messiah by George Frederick Handel is an English-language oratorio composed in 1741 and is one of the best-known choral works in Western music. Mark Baldwin marries his dance movement to He Was Despised from Messiah, with set designs by Baldwin.
Baldwin says,
My new cave painting is a Rhinoceros, and is featured as the backdrop for my work Messiah. Ancient people painted animals for almost 100 thousand years and they carried their pigments with them. These animals for me represent tenaciousness and longevity.
