In Motion is a new documentary exploring the 15-year journey of Eliot Smith and Eliot Smith Dance. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Elijah McDonnell, the film is framed around Woodhorn Museum, alongside a series of striking locations across the North East and beyond. Combining movement, landscape and personal reflection, the documentary explores creativity, resilience and regional identity while charting the evolution of ESD from a North East company to an internationally recognised contemporary dance organisation.
