Adianna Apodaca joined Eliot Smith Dance in August 2026, working closely with Eliot Smith to support the delivery of projects while helping to grow the company and advance ESD’s creative and organisational vision.
Adianna has supported leaders and professionals for over three decades across multiple sectors. She currently works as a Creative Professional lending her expertise and skills to help artists and Arts organisations. With a BA in Dance from Columbia College Chicago, her dedication to the Arts sector is rooted in a passion for Contemporary Dance.
In 2014, Adianna immigrated from the US and settled in the North East of England to develop a Screendance practice, combining her background in dance choreography and her love of film. To further her artistic ambition she completed a Master’s of Fine Art in Creative Practice: Dance Professional Practice from Trinity Laban Conservatory of Music and Dance in association with Independent Dance, London in 2022. Her dance films have been screened in Argentina, France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland and the UK.
In addition to working with ESD, Adianna runs a videography business and has worked with several UK artists including world renowned choreographer Janis Claxton, physical theatre artist Jango Star (Clive Andrews), choreographer and aerial dancer Dana MacPherson, and performance artist Alice Gale-Feeny. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature, fostering relationships with animals as a pet carer and devouring films and books.
