Born in Leeds and raised in Lanzarote, Jacob Gale started dancing at the age of 14 at Phoenix Dance Academy in Leeds, he completed the foundation diploma at Northern School of Contemporary Dance and graduated from Rambert School for Ballet and Contemporary in 2020.

Since then he has performed in various dance and theatre projects and has worked with choreographers such as Christopher Bruce, Arielle Smith and Zoobin Surty. He was also a dancer for Mischief Dance Company as part of Dance City's kickstart company.

Jacob joined ESD in autumn 2023 and his credits with the company include: The Three Jolly Ghosts of Christmas.
