Imprisonment is a work that investigates how someone can become wrongly accused of a crime and later become imprisoned by a person acting without authority to do so. Imprisonment does not necessarily imply a place of confinement, with bolts and bars. The man or woman becomes a prisoner, wherever he or she may be, by a mere word or touch.
