Overview
In celebration of International Women's Day and to commemorate the women involved in the Miners’ Strike of 1984-85, Eliot Smith Dance, in collaboration with Woodhorn Museum, presents Haway The Lasses — an online community dance performance. This performance is pre-recorded from Woodhorn Museum The Cutter Building, under the original Haway The Lasses banner.

This short, 10-minute performance features a cast of eight community dancers, with movement co-created by Eliot Smith. The work highlights the strength, resilience, and contributions of women during a pivotal moment in history.
